Further proof that there's a website for everything: Airline Meals.net, the world's first and leading site about nothing but airline food. Actually, I'm glad to see this because I think airline food gets knocked somewhat unfairly; in addition to the already-difficult chore of preparing large quantities of food for strangers, airline chefs have to account for the delays between the preparation (often in the wee hours of the morning) and the serving of the food. Not to mention the variations for medical conditions, religions, etc.
The site features information and photos on special meals (kosher, vegetarian, etc), crew meals, airport restaurants, and even vintage photos of airline cuisine. There's also a behind-the-scenes section that covers food preparation and catering.
But the highlights here are the numerous photos of meals from airlines all over the world, usually accompanied by information about the flight, prices, and, of course, reviews and comments on the food itself. For fun, compare some of the photos from different national airlines -- say Kenya Airways and China Airlines -- and you'll far more appetizing options than the Hot Pocket I got during my last domestic flight...
