"The Restaurant" May be Sold
Newsday.com posted an article about the recent court hearings of Rocco DiSpirito, chef on NBC's show "The Restaurant". Because of financial problems, the owners of DiSpirito's restaurant want to sell and ban him from the building. There is question about who the owners are exactly and future court hearings will be required. DiSpirito's lawyers are arguing that he will be able to help turn things around.
"DiSpirito's lawyer, Steven Hayes, argued against selling the restaurant, saying it had made a 'substantial profit' for two of the past three months. In May, he said, the restaurant cleared $100,000."
